Café Coffee Making Courses - 2012
The OUSA Clubs and Societies Centre is running Café Coffee making courses in conjunction with The School of Hospitality at Otago Polytechnic. In the Café Coffee Making course you will gain a basic understanding of espresso coffee. Specifically you will:
Learn to identify the main bean types and countries they are grown in.
Cover a brief history of coffee.
Identify and understand the basic coffee types.
Stretch and texture milk in an appropriate manner for each coffee.
Understand the quality indicators of good coffee extraction.
Gain a basic understanding of machine components and general maintenance.

Café Coffee Making - Building on the Basics
This is for students who have already completed one of our Cafe Coffee courses.
This is an opportunity to enhance your skills with an in-depth knowledge of milk
and coffee extraction as well as technique.
The course will take you to the next level by giving you more exposure
to the espresso machine.

Monday: 14, 21, 28 May
Time: 5pm - 7- 7.30 pm
