루터의 시편묵상 007편 (Reading the Psalms with Luther)

PSALM 7 

Psalm 7 is also a psalm of prayer. It laments over slanderers who accuse the saints and their teachings as being riotous, opposed to the authorities, and disturbing the peace. In this way Shimei the Benjaminite (2 Samuel 16:5–14) slandered the pious David as if David had stolen King Saul’s kingdom. In the same way, Christ was also accused before Pilate, and even now slanderers defame the Gospel. David fights against this affliction with prayer and cries to God of his innocence. By David’s own example, he shows us that such a prayer was granted, so that we might have comfort. The psalm also threatens the slanderers and oppressors and holds before them the example of those who perish before they accomplished the evil they intended. It belongs, like the preceding psalm, in the Second Commandment and the First Petition.

시편 7 편 역시 기도의 시편입니다. 이 시편은 성도들과 그들의 가르침이 폭동을 유발하고 국가에 반대하며 평화를 방해한다고 비난하는 중상모략자들을 비난하는 시편입니다. 마치 베냐민 사람 시므이 (사무엘 하 16 : 5-14)가 다윗이 사울 왕국을 도둑질 한 것 마냥 경건한 다윗을 중상모략했다고 한 것처럼 말입니다. 이와 같은 방식으로, 그리스도는 빌라도 앞에서 고소당했고, 지금도 중상모략자들은 복음을 모욕합니다. 다윗은 기도로 이 고난에 맞서 싸우고 하나님께 자신의 순전함을 위해 부르짖습니다. 다윗 자신의 모범을 따라 그는 우리에게 그러한 기도는 응답을 받을 것이며 그래서 우리는 위로를 받을 것이라는 것을 보여줍니다. 이 시편은 또한 중상모략하는 자들과 압제자들에게 경고하고 그들이 의도한 악한 일이 성취되기 전에 멸망할 자들의 예를 그들 에게 보여줍니다. 이 시편은 이전 시편과 마찬가지로 십계명의 두번째 계명과 주기도문의 첫 번째 간구에 속합니다.

2 그들이 사자처럼 나를 찢어 발기어도, 

나의 목숨 건져 줄 사람이 없을까 두렵습니다. 

3 주 나의 하나님, 내가 만일 이런 일을 저질렀다면 벌을 내려 주십시오. 

내가 손으로 폭력을 행했거나 

4 친구의 우정을 악으로 갚았거나, 

나의 대적이라고 하여 까닭 없이 그를 약탈했다면, 

5 원수들이 나를 뒤쫓아와서, 

내 목숨을 덮쳐서 땅에 짓밟고, 내 명예를 짓밟아도, 나는 좋습니다. (셀라) 

6 주님, 진노하며 일어나시고, 내 대적들의 기세를 꺾어 주십시오. 

하나님, 깨어나셔서 판결을 내려 주십시오. 

7 뭇 민족들을 주님 앞으로 모으시고, 

주님께서는 그 높은 법정으로 돌아오십시오. 

8 주님께서는 뭇 백성들을 판단하시는 분이시니, 

내 의와 내 성실함을 따라 나를 변호해 주십시오. 

9 악한 자의 악행을 뿌리 뽑아 주시고 의인은 굳게 세워 주십시오. 

주님은 의로우신 하나님, 사람의 마음 속 생각을 낱낱이 살피시는 분이십니다. 

10 하나님은 나를 지키시는 방패시요, 

마음이 올바른 사람에게 승리를 안겨 주시는 분이시다. 

11 하나님은 공정한 재판장이시요, 

언제라도 악인을 벌하는 분이시다. 

12 뉘우치고 돌아오지 않으면, 

칼을 갈고 활을 겨누어 심판을 준비하신다. 

13 살상 무기를 준비하시고, 

화살 끝에 불을 붙이신다. 

14 악인은 악을 잉태하여 

재앙과 거짓을 낳는구나. 

15 함정을 깊이 파지만, 

그가 만든 구덩이에 그가 빠진다. 

16 남에게 준 고통이 그에게로 돌아가고, 

남에게 휘두른 폭력도 그의 정수리로 돌아간다. 

17 나는 주님의 의로우심을 찬송하고 

가장 높으신 주님의 이름을 노래하련다. 

1 O LORD my God, in you do I take | refuge;*

save me from all my pursuers and de- | liver me, 

2 lest like a lion they tear my | soul apart,*

rending it in pieces, with none to de- | liver. 

3 O LORD my God, if I have | done this,*

if there is wrong | in my hands, 

4 if I have repaid my friend with | evil*

or plundered my enemy with- | out cause, 

5 let the enemy pursue my soul and over- | take it,*

  and let him trample my life to the ground and lay my

glory | in the dust. 

6 Arise, O LORD, in your anger;

lift yourself up against the fury of my | enemies;*

awake for me; you have appointed a | judgment. 

7 Let the assembly of the peoples

be gathered a- | bout you;*

over it re- | turn on high. 

8 The LORD judges the | peoples;*

  judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness

and according to the integrity that is | in me. 

9 Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end,

and may you establish the | righteous—*

  you who test the minds and hearts,

O | righteous God! 

10 My shield | is with God,*

who saves the up- | right in heart. 

11 God is a | righteous judge,*

and a God who feels indignation | ev’ry day. 

12 If a man does not repent, God will | whet his sword;*

he has bent and read- | ied his bow; 

13 he has prepared for him his deadly | weapons,*

making his arrows | fiery shafts. 

14 Behold, the wicked man conceives | evil*

  and is pregnant with mischief and gives | birth to lies.

15 He makes a pit, digging | it out,*

and falls into the hole that | he has made. 

16 His mischief returns upon | his own head,*

and on his own skull his violence | descends. 

17 I will give to the LORD the thanks

due to his | righteousness,*

  and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD,

the | Most High. 

PRAYER 

Lord, our God, lover of the truth, help those who, for Your name’s sake, are lied against and slandered innocently. Strengthen, comfort, and uphold those who suffer wrongfully, and break and hinder the craftiness of evil men who would suppress Your truth and destroy Your kingdom. Amen.

주님, 진리를 사랑하는 우리 하나님, 당신의 이름을 위하여 거짓말을 하고 순수하게 중상 모략하는 사람들을 도우십시오. 부당하게 고난 당하는 사람들을 굳세게 하시고 위로하시며 굳게 붙들어 주소서. 그리고 당신의 진리를 억누르고 당신의 왕국을 파괴하려 하는 악인들의 교활함을 박살내고 흐트려 주소서. 아멘.
